Roseln Duo

The Roseln is a plant-like enemy from the Ixa’takan airspace. They can attack with their central root part, spray out clouds of uh… stuff, also do a Death Blossom move, and one called Slumber Dust. These can be a bit of a pain at the start, when you 1st encounter them, but by the end of the game, you’ll be able to stomp the *beep* out of them.
There’s a similarly shaped enemy called the Carnilak, in the Maw Of Tartas, which has a lot more health, and is harder to get rid of. I guess the game designers liked to recycle quite a few of the enemy meshes after putting so much effort into them and all.
I’m not sure how you’d pronounce this. Rose-ln? Ro-seln? Whatever you like, I suppose.
I did 2 of these critters, because they look significantly different when they open up. In the game, the inner petals stretch out and twist.
My leaves are a bit different to in the game, ’cos I just could not get a texture on them to look quite the same.
Anyhoo, I hope you like the general gist of it. I did the background like a bit of a representation of the Delphinus’s deck.
